From Fashion to Movement
His journey began with a love for fashion, first through collecting sneakers, then through noticing gaps in the designs around him. He knew he had ideas that could fill those spaces. What started as clothing quickly became something bigger. Inspired by Lil Baby’s My Turn, the name evolved into a message about stepping forward, taking initiative, and contributing to something larger than yourself. My Turn became about community, creativity, and showing up, whether through design, events, or everyday life in the city.
Built With the City
Though the brand only began last year, its impact already runs deep. Calgary holds real significance for David, which is why city landmarks appear throughout his designs and content. What excites him most is seeing people not just wear the brand, but shape it. From athletes to performers to content creators, My Turn becomes part of their expression. Watching that community grow reminds him that this is only the beginning, and there’s far more ahead.
